The National Service Authority (NSA) has scheduled screening and medical examinations for preselected National Service Personnel (NSPs) interested in joining the Basic Military Training Programme.
The exercise begins today, Monday, November 2, and ends on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It is meant to assess the eligibility and medical fitness of prospective participants ahead of the programme's commencement.
The Notice
In a notice, the Authority urged all preselected personnel who have expressed interest and confirmed their willingness to participate to take note of the dates and make the necessary arrangements to attend.
The NSA said details on designated screening centres, reporting times, and other requirements will be communicated through the appropriate channels. Prospective participants are therefore advised to monitor official NSA platforms closely for updates so they do not miss their assigned slots.
The screening is a key step in the selection process, since only those who meet the eligibility and medical requirements will be considered for the training programme.
The Authority wished all prospective participants success in the exercise.
